THE PIERRE
VALCOURT
PROJECT.

Pierre Valcourt is a curated contemporary studio project presented and represented by Studio 54 Fine Art.

What the name represents

Pierre Valcourt is the identity used to organise a coherent body of neo-expressionist imagery around crowns, crowds, anatomy, urgent text, street marks and saturated colour. The project is presented as a contemporary creative programme, not as the biography of an independently documented historical artist.

The earlier narrative of a Marseille birthplace, Beaux-Arts training and three decades living in Paris is not used as factual provenance. The current website replaces that story with a transparent account of the project, its visual concept and the gallery responsible for presenting it.

How the works are presented

The works are offered as museum-grade limited editions coordinated by Studio 54 Fine Art. Before purchase, the collector receives written confirmation of the exact image, format, dimensions, edition number, surface or paper specification, framing option and price. A Certificate of Authenticity identifies the title, year and edition supplied.

AI-assisted image disclosure

Digital and AI-assisted creative tools may form part of the image-development process. Studio 54 Fine Art treats that fact as information a collector is entitled to understand. The resulting edition is therefore described through its actual production method and documentation rather than through a fictional studio biography.

Relationship to Jean-Michel Basquiat

The project operates within the broad history of neo-expressionism and uses recurring motifs found across that movement. The works are not originals by Jean-Michel Basquiat, are not presented as his works, and are not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

The responsible gallery

Studio 54 Fine Art, established in 2016, is the presenting gallery and collector contact. It coordinates cataloguing, enquiries, production, framing, international delivery and installation. The gallery maintains marketplace profiles on Artsy and Artnet and provides the commercial documentation associated with each acquisition.
