Three related figures occupy separate emotional registers. The left figure radiates outward, the central figure holds the composition together, and the smaller figure at right appears caught between retreat and response.
Symbolism and visual language
Repeated circular marks suggest memory returning in loops. The descending arrow and handwritten words create a visual movement from impact to aftermath, while the limited red, blue, yellow and black palette keeps the emotional structure direct.
The work is confrontational at first view but rewards slower reading. At architectural scale, its open pale ground gives the figures room to breathe while preserving the urgency of the drawn line.
Production and collector documentation
Each available edition is catalogued by Studio 54 Fine Art. Before acquisition, the collector receives written confirmation of the exact format, edition number, image dimensions, paper or mounted surface, framing specification and price. The completed work is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity identifying the artwork and edition.
The imagery belongs to the disclosed Pierre Valcourt contemporary studio project. It is not presented as an original work by Jean-Michel Basquiat, and no affiliation with or endorsement by the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat is claimed.
Framing and international delivery
Studio 54 Fine Art can coordinate museum-standard production, bespoke framing, insured international transport and white-glove installation. Recommendations are matched to the artwork format, destination, architecture and display conditions.
